Ted Carpenter is one of two current lead singers (and founding members) of former Mercury Recording artists Fathers Children. As a member of Fathers Children, he performed with a host of notable artists, including Earth, Wind & Fire, Stevie Wonder, Teddy Pendergrass, Stephanie Mills, Frankie Beverly and Maze and many others. After recording 4 albums with Fathers Children (two of which he co-produced), Ted is venturing out on this solo project to do some songs that are more akin to his personal musical tastes and style. The songs range in feel and mood from old school R&B to Reggae, and from smooth jazz to country. Hence the project title "Cross Currents."
